This is a gorgeous, white, Vera Wang strapless ballgown that I wore for my August 2007 wedding. I purchased it at the Vera Wang store in Manhattan and it was professionally cleaned and preserved (by the Vera Wang recommended cleaner) right after I wore it, so it is in fantastic condition. Made with silk tissue taffeta, the gown has a scoopneck, a wrapped bodice that is very slimming, a low back and a gorgeous train that is easy to bustle and looks terrific up or down. The skirt of the dress has a few pickups with a simple tie on each that finishes the clean, classic look. The fabric is incredibly lightweight and extremely comfortable to move around and dance in. There are no adornments (e.g. lace, rhinestones, etc.) on the dress and it certainly doesn't need any - the fabric and cut of the dress are simply beautiful. |
