Dress description : Anjolique 817
This is a truly exquisite dress. I found it at a boutique and fell in love with it. Unfortunately, the boutique took my measurements incorrectly and I'm not able to wear it for my upcoming wedding. It has not been altered in any way.
The dress is perfect for a petite bride, looking for a sexy, elegant wedding gown. It is fitted through the waist, hips, and upper legs, then flares out at the knee. In the front are two delicate pleats in the lace that kick out when you walk. The train in the back is incredibly detailed; note that I was advised that this would be very difficult to shorten, as the detail would have to be removed then re-sewn by hand. It has not been tailored, so there is no bustle for the train, but one could be easily added. It also has a sewn-in corset.
The top of the dress is v-cut, but then covered with lace. It zips up the back, but each satin button has an individual loop such that the zipper is hidden when fully looped.
The lace on the dress has a floral design that is more concentrated near the top and then fades as your eyes move down the dress. It also has beads and sequins that reflect the light.
Compared to other dresses I tried on, this is incredibly well-made. It is a gorgeous dress, and I'm bummed not to be wearing it. Aside from trying it on, it has never been worn and is brand new.
Height with Shoes: Dress was measured for a bride with 53 inches from hollow (between clavicles) to hem; note that this is with the tape measure held taut (the cause of the mis-measurement noted above) and therefore would be a good fit for a petit bride, about 5'2" with low heels |
